Bataan 3rd District Congresswoman Gila Garcia said Morong town will have its own district hospital. She said Senator Joel Villanueva who provided the initial fund for the project recently led the groundbreaking of the hospital in Morong. The senator was joined by Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia, Congresswoman Garcia, and local officials.
Congresswoman Garcia said for the first year P50 million will be spent for the project and the next year P100 million. For the third year, she said her office will seek another P150 million from sources like Department of Health and senators. The lady solon said she pushes for the project to provide accessible and quality healthcare services to local residents.
The newly created Bataan 3rd District is composed of the towns of Dinalupihan, Mariveles, Bagac, and Morong.
